MSOC (Managed Security Operations Center)
MSOC is a facility that houses an information security team that is in charge of continuously monitoring and analyzing an organization’s security posture.
Security operations centers monitor and analyze network, server, endpoint, database, application, website, and other system activity for anomalous activity that could indicate a security breach or compromise. The SOC is in charge of ensuring that potential security incidents are identified, analyzed, defended, investigated, and reported correctly.
